We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Operative (electronics) . The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting quality assurance processes and conducting analysis to ensure the highest standards of their products . Based in Clay Cross, this is a full time, temporary to permanent role
Duties –
- Conduct all operations in accordance with the organisation’s requirements by ensuring up to date awareness and adherence to: The Company Health and Safety Policy, The Staff Handbook, Quality Management System Documentation and any other internal or customer issued documentation
- Determine the build requirement from the supplied documentation and / or verbal instruction, adhering to the production plan, sustaining traceability of both the product and the process to achieve product realisation
- Confer with immediate supervisor to clarify, plan or review work activities; or to resolve productions issues or equipment malfunctions
- Conduct function testing utilising appropriately selected, equipment and/or software, to ensure conformity to specifications
- Conduct programming and configuration of electronic assemblies
- Conduct rework within capabilities as directed by immediate Supervisor
- Maintain records of test results as directed by immediate Supervisor
- Pro-active prioritisation of time management to product build, reporting to a supervisory level any deviations that may affect quality or time attributed
- Undertake training as required to meet the needs of the business
What we are looking for –
- Ideally previous experience of quality testing in an electronic engineering environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and practices (training provided if necessary)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
What’s in it for you –
- A full time, temporary to permanent role, working a 39 hour week (start time 7.30/8am)
- Pay rate £13.07-£13.42
