We are now recruiting for our client for a Technical Sales Manager. Based in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, this company is a market leader in the upholstery industry in the UK and exports throughout Europe.
We are looking for someone to join a highly motivated team with many years’ experience in the trade; knowledge of the upholstery industry is not essential but a technical background and a positive and enthusiastic approach is vital.
– Reporting to the MD, the role involves mainly account management of current clients; making appointments and visiting clients to develop and maintain relationships. This will usually take 2-3 days each week
– Advising clients on technical issues (as the industry is quite niche you will be trained on the specifics by the very knowledgable team, however previous technical know- how is essential for things like taking measurements, etc)
– Managing a small, internal team (approx 3 member of staff)
